GLO Sunless originated in late 2013, but owner Krista Floyd has been in the spray tanning game since 2007!  Krista had traveled the Kansas City area as a trained Spray Tan Tachnician for a friend who owned and operated a mobile spray tanning company before he sold it to a local tanning salon a year after starting.

 

       Fast forward to 2013. Krista and her husband Matt had been training for their very first bodybuilding competition together and was all set to compete in the KC Classic show.  It was there that Krista had met Channa and her fabulous spray tanning team and in set the nostalgia. Later that month, Krista and her family traveled to Las Vegas to visit her father where she stumbled upon a salon that specialized in spray tanning.  The research had begun.

       This all started as just a side gig for extra money to compete and pay for extra curricular activities for her children.  She started spraying out of her garage, then graduated to her basement, then onto traveling to clients' homes for connivence. What started out as a hobby turned into a passion and goal that would allow her to leave her 9-5 corporate job and pursue spray tanning passion full-time.  Our goal is to make sure every client feels comfortable, confident and bronzed!

       As 2020 has begun, Krista has been able to grow her business with the help of her clients that have been there since day one, the mentorship of Channa Clemmens of TanPerfkt and is now the proud tanning sponsor of several NANBF shows in the midwest.  Krista and her team are very grateful and excited for the opportunities that lay ahead and look forward to sharing these milestones with all of you.
